In September of 2006 Rachel McIntire began developing plans to design, fabricate and install signage that depicts the Boys Club’s vision to provide educational enrichment and athletic opportunities for boys in the East Palo Alto community. Rachel McIntire, in collaboration with the East Palo Alto Mural Art Project, worked with the staff and board of the Boys Club to create a proposal and curriculum, solicit funding and facilitate the mural project for this nascent organization located in East Palo Alto’s midtown.
